Project Cargo Manager

Job description:

  • Identify and engage new business in the Project Cargo target group
  • Initiate and sustain logistic service provider relationships with partners
  • Organize and supervise entire process of oversize & heavy transports
  • Complete and validate freight forwarding documentation
  • Financial settlements with customers
  • Reporting according to company’s standards
  • Managing a team of 1-3 associates

Qualifications:

  • Project Cargo industry experience +/- 3 years
  • Basic knowledge of oversized & heavy transports organization rules
  • Skilled in technical drawings analysis (knowledge of AutoCAD would be a plus)
  • Ability to work with map and basic knowledge of European transport geography
  • Experience in project management, multitask abilities 
  • Acceptance of the schedule inherent to the operations (frequent changes, delays, extended hours if needed, etc.)
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, accuracy & timeliness
  • Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision. Inherent desire to exceed expectations
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills to investigate issues, assess complex variables, identify source causes and offer solutions
  • Strong written & verbal communication in English
